The Beginnings
Ed Drose and Jim Condon met while they were both in the US Army Reserves and Clemson University's ROTC Cadet program as part of the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP). Ed went on to active duty in the U.S. Signal Corps while Jim stayed in the reserves and started his government career with SPAWAR Atlantic. Twenty-five years later, they were once again working with each other for DRS Technologies in Stuttgart, Germany. Jim had culminated his government career as the Director of SPAWAR Europe and, rather than move back to the United States, he made the move to the private sector and started the DRS Technologies International Division. Ed had recently retired from the U.S. Army after serving in numerous assignments and culminating as the I Corps G6/Multinational Corps-Iraq C6. In 2017, they made the move to start their own business. Both wanted to use their skills to provide an agile, competent, and cost-effective solution for technical services and staffing. The idea for Force99 was hatched.
Force99 Technologies opened its doors in 2017 as a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small-Business. Our mantra of providing leading-edge engineering, networking, cybersecurity, unified communications, and Information Technology services and staffing solutions is what we believe in.
